The ex-Uva PC Minister of Cultural Affairs and Co-operative Development Katugaha Ratnayake passed away on at the Intensive Care Unit of the Badulla Base Hospital. He was 82. The cremation will take place on June 17 at the Watabedda Playground, Maliththa Bandarawela.
Katugaha Ratnayake was a famous poet, a senior SLFP member and a dedicated social worker.And a relation of the first lady in Sri Lanka , as she was present as a personal relative who should be a responsible caractor in the family , and as she was there , we get reports of the other VIP studs who are related to Hon. Katugaha Rathnayake, as the name goes off, Rohitha Rajapakshe was supposed to attend the funeral , but he was not be able to seen around , and other Relatives who were Supposed to be present was , Namal Rajapakshe, Kanishka Rajapakshe, Dimithra Rathnayake, Kanishka Munagamage, Kanchana Gunawardana,Nishanthi Gunawardana, Vinodini Gunawardana,and the respective Ex minister's son was supposed to be present around the funeral area ,
